Amazon Founder and CEO Jeff Bezos, the world's third wealthiest man according to the Bloomberg Billionaire Index, said he is moving from Seattle to The Sunshine State.
The American entrepreneur announced the news via a throw-back video he posted on Instagram Thursday capturing video of him inside his Seattle garage where he founded the multinational tech trillion-dollar company in 1994.
"This is my desk here... this is the fax machine," Bezos, 59, says in the beginning of the video while giving a tour of his "office".
"That’s my dad behind the camera in this video," he wrote in the post.

Why is Jeff Bezos moving to Miami?
The Amazon CEO, named Time magazine's Person of the Year in 1999, said he is moving to Miami to be closer to his parents and the Cape Canaveral operations of Blue Origin, his space exploration company.
The company, based in Washington State, develops rockets, rocket engines and space capsules.
"I've lived in Seattle longer than I have lived anywhere else," Bezos wrote in the social media post. "As exciting as the move is, it's an emotional decision for me. Seattle, you will always have a place in my heart."

The move won't be the first time he's lived in Florida.
He has a slew of ties to the state.
"My parents recently moved back to Miami, the place we lived when I was younger (Miami Palmetto High class of ’82 — GO Panthers!") he posted on Instagram.

The billionaire also wrote he and his partner of more than four years, Lauren Sanchez, "love Miami."
The pair began dating in 2019 after Bezos split from his ex-wife, author Mackenzie Scott. The former couple share one son.
As of Thursday, Bezos' estimated net worth was $161 billion, according to Bloomberg. His third-place ranking sat just shy of Bernaurd Arnault ($163 billion) and Elon Musk, who led the pack with a net worth of $208 billion.
Jeff Bezos owns multiple homes in Miami
The Palm Beach Post, part of the USA TODAY Network, recently reported Bezos paid $79 million for a seven-bedroom, 14-bathroom mansion set on 1.84 acres in Indian Creek Village.
The private neighborhood near Miami Beach is known to locals as 'Billionaire Bunker' for its wealthy residents.
In August, The Associated Press reported Bezos bought a waterfront estate in the neighborhood for $68 million.
